Every year, there’s a huge
party in my high school to celebrate the first day of summer: the Summer
Entrance. This celebration is such well recognized around the country that almost
one hundred different high schools’ choirs are inscribed to show their musical
talent.
This festival can be recalled
as a colourful day where you can listen to all types of music, including teenagers
choirs which have spent about one year preparing it and others which had just
inscribed to spend a funny day, and obviously, they are out of tune! This
involves a great party atmosphere, with hundreds of people who may well become
your friends.
It all begins the first
summer Sunday at 6 am, with a meeting of all the choirs in a hall with the aim of according the place and the time for each group. The music starts at 10 am and goes on until the night. Finally, there is a
popular dinner at 11 pm watching a film projected on a screen in the playground.
The Summer entrance is an
unforgettable experience that I had a chance to be a three-year-participant
during my adolescence.
